Campers
The All Star Camp is a co-ed camp. Every summer, basketball enthusiasts, boys
and girls aged between 8 and 19, have been enrolling at camp. Many have been
coming back every year. Our campers are an amazing mix of children and teenagers
from all sorts of backgrounds and nationalities: Lebanese and Lebanese
expatriates, Saudi, Syrian, Jordanian, French, American... Campers
normally enroll for 1 session (Monday to Sunday) though some choose to stay for
an additional session.

Staff
We like to position ourselves as a
camp with a difference, providing the highest quality instruction and
entertainment. This starts at the very top with our head coach and assistants:
Coach
Raymond Naccour,
our 2008 coach, is a professional coach and educator. He has been coaching in
France for the last 22 years and is passionate about the game. His vast
experience in dealing with players at all levels is quite impressive, and his
ability to transfer his knowledge to the campers is proven.
The
assistants: Coach
Naccour is assisted by coach Bahi Rifai and a team of university students / players.
The assistants' role is not limited to instruction on the courts. They regularly
double up as counselors and activity supervisors and end up developing a very
healthy rapport with campers who easily identify with them.
The
Counselors: Under the
supervision of Mira Rifai, these are the people directly responsible for running
all non basketball programs and activities at camp that help make the campers'
stay a memorable one:
the
reserve activities (caving, rappelling, rock & mountain climbing, archery, the ropes courses...), the evening programs (karaoke night, talent
show, disco night, the camp fire...), the excursion day to Laklouk or Al Assi
river for rafting...& paintball.
In short, we at All Star camp make
sure children have fun, make new friends, compete and learn new skills, all in
a safe and comfortable environment. The All Star camp is a unique, character
building experience, that will produce lifelong memories.
